Galasin Online Registration System
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the race registration service on the Galasin platform. By creating an account and/or registering for a race through Galasin, the Participant is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all of the provisions below.
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. The Indonesian version is the binding one, and it prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Definitions
- Galasin is the online race registration system that provides registration, payment and race information services.
- Participant is any person who creates an account and/or registers for a race through Galasin.
- Organiser is the owner of the race (event) whose registration Galasin facilitates.
- Race Pack is the race equipment (including but not limited to the jersey and the race number/BIB) that the Participant receives according to the category registered for.
Scope of Service
Galasin acts as the provider of the registration platform. Running the race itself, including the route, schedule, safety, prizes and technical race regulations, is the responsibility of the Organiser as set out on each event's own page.
Accounts and Participant Data
- The Participant must provide correct, accurate and current data when registering, including the name as it appears on their identity card, date of birth and emergency contact.
- The Participant is responsible for keeping their account and credentials confidential. All activity carried out through the Participant's account is the Participant's responsibility.
- The handling of the Participant's Personal Data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms one whole with these Terms and Conditions.
Race Registration
- Registration is completed on the Galasin website by choosing an event and a category, entering participant data, choosing a race pack and completing payment.
- Before continuing with registration, the Participant must read and accept the specific terms and conditions set by each Organiser.
- Category quotas are limited. A registration slot is only confirmed once payment has succeeded.
- Registration for participants under the age of majority (under 18) must be carried out by a parent or guardian, subject to each event's own rules.
- A registration may not be transferred to another person unless permitted and approved by the Organiser.
Payment
- Payment is made through the official payment channels available at checkout (among them Virtual Account and QRIS), processed by a third-party payment gateway provider.
- Every invoice has a payment deadline. An invoice left unpaid past that deadline expires automatically and the registration slot returns to the quota.
- Proof of registration and the invoice are sent by email once payment is confirmed. If the email does not arrive, the Participant may use the Resend Email Confirmation feature.
Cancellation and Refunds
- A full refund may be requested no later than 30 (thirty) days before the event date.
- A request made between 30 (thirty) and 7 (seven) days before the event is refunded at 50% (fifty percent).
- No refund is given within 7 (seven) days of the event, except on emergency medical grounds accompanied by supporting documents.
- Specific cancellation policies set by the Organiser for a given event may apply and take precedence.
Race Pack
- The jersey size is chosen at registration according to the size chart available on the event page. As a general rule sizes cannot be exchanged once the race pack has been collected.
- Race pack collection follows the schedule, location and requirements (including proof of registration and an identity card) set by the Organiser.
Participant Obligations
- The Participant declares that they are in a state of health fit to take part in the race category registered for.
- The Participant must comply with all race regulations, the directions of the committee and the safety provisions in force during the event.
- The Participant may not use the Galasin platform for unlawful acts, including fraud, abuse of quota, or use of another person's data without permission.
Limitation of Liability
- Galasin is not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising during the running of the event, which falls within the Organiser's scope of responsibility under each event's own terms.
- Galasin is not responsible for service failures caused by force majeure, network disruption, or disruption at a third-party service provider beyond Galasin's reasonable control.
- Changing, postponing or cancelling an event is the Organiser's prerogative; any compensation follows the Organiser's own policy.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Galasin platform, including logos, designs and other material, is protected by intellectual property rights. The Participant may not use, copy or distribute that content without written permission from Galasin and/or the relevant rights holder.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Galasin may at any time change, update and/or add to part or all of the provisions in these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be announced through the communication channels Galasin determines. Continued use of the service after a change is deemed to be the Participant's acceptance of that change.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of the Republic of Indonesia.
